About

Growing up backstage among dancers gave me an education most writers never receive — a daily lesson in how rhythm carries meaning, how pauses can do more work than words, and how grace is almost always the visible result of invisible discipline. I watched choreographers build entire emotional arcs out of breath, timing, and the placement of a single hand, and I learned that pacing in prose follows the same logic as pacing on a stage. My fiction is constructed like choreography: every scene moving in relation to the ones around it, every sentence weighted toward the next step, every chapter rehearsed until its effortlessness conceals the precision underneath. I write for readers who feel a story in their body before they understand it in their mind, and who recognize that the best art always looks easier than it actually is.
